Meet the Therapist

Hi! I'm Isy.

I am a Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) and certified NICU Music Therapist (NICU-MT) with over 3 years of experience.

I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, and now practice in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

I completed my undergraduate studies at Maryville University in 2022, graduating Cum Laude with my Bachelor of Science in Music Therapy and a minor in Deaf Studies. After which, I completed an AMTA-approved national roster internship with Florida Music Therapy in Melbourne, FL, and was board-certified by CBMT in April 2023. I recently completed my certification in NICU Music Therapy through the National Institute of Infant and Child Medical Music Therapy, and am continuing my education at the University of Pittsburgh to obtain my Masters of Social Work (MSW).

Having worked with hundreds of participants in group and individual settings, via telehealth and in-person, I specialize in working with pediatric and young adult populations facing disability and mental health issues.

Outside of sessions and advocacy, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two cats, crafting, and making tea!
