FAQ
1. What does a music therapy session at Metamorphosis looks like?
Sessions are customized based on each individual's needs. Quarterly, participants work with their music therapist to design a treatment plan specifically tailored towards their goals. Each session can include musical experiences like instrumental play, music and movement, and songwriting, that are therapeutically structured for the session. The primary aim of these activities is to address various needs, including physical, emotional, cognitive, and social.
2. How do I get started with music therapy at Metamorphosis?
To start music therapy at Metamorphosis, please fill out an intake form. Once received, a board certified music therapist will reach out to schedule and conduct an initial assessment.
